Most bands write songs about heroes, happy endings, and people doing the right thing. Not us.

Sin Prism tells original stories from the perspectives of villains, monsters, broken souls, and people making terrible decisions. Sometimes they're frightening. Sometimes they're tragic. Sometimes they're darkly funny. Almost always, they're more human than we'd like to admit.

How did we end up here? One day our primary songwriter and vocalist, Jer, was watching a Disney-style animated musical and wondered, "Do the same writers who create the uplifting songs for the heroes also write the deliciously evil songs for the villains?" That sounded like a challenge worth accepting.

Our songs wander through worlds of jealous lovers, kidnappers, murderers, evil spirits, creepy strangers, doomed romances, supernatural nightmares, and ordinary people capable of extraordinary darkness. We're not celebrating these characters—we're shining a light on them.

Some songs may make you laugh. Others may leave you unsettled. A few might have you double-checking the locks before bed. Either way, these stories aren't for kids... but if you enjoy exploring the darker corners of imagination, pull up a chair.
